Description
Expendable high temperature thermocouples used in the
temperature measurement of liquid metals.
These multi-use thermocouples are available in type
R,S & B and are commonly used in the temperature
measurement of ferrous and non-ferrous molten metals.
They are constructed to withstand multiple cycles into
liquid metal in slag free conditions before being disposed of
after use or degradation.
Designed for use with the digital portable pyrometer (DPP)
or other digital instrumentation, the thermocouple is
placed over a connector or contact block which is
connected to the instrumentation using extension cable.
When peak stable temperature is reached, it is displayed
on the instrument and the operator withdraws the
thermocouple from the melt.
